As a Transportation Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery operations.
You’ll be responsible for optimizing truck utilization, executing delivery plans, and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
This role requires sharp planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your contribution will directly impact our service levels, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*Receive and process orders provided by the Commercial Back Office team in a timely manner.
*Create shipments per Distribution Center/Truck according to the night loading process.
*Ensure optimal truck utilization and productivity.
*Act as the focal point between the Commercial Back Office and On-Ground Logistics Operations teams.
*Provide the required number of rented trucks per Distribution Center, aligned with the loading plan.
*Follow up with forwarders to ensure truck availability at Distribution Centers as per agreed timelines.
*Ensure on-time KBI (Key Business Indicator) is achieved.
*Ensure truck utilization KBI is successfully met.
*Coordinate with on-ground logistics teams at each Distribution Center to ensure proper execution of assigned delivery plans.
*Own the process of updating the delivery plan when changes are needed.
*Follow up with ground dispatchers to resolve any plan-related issues.
ARE THSES YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS
*Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
*1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation planning, or distribution operations (FMCG experience is a plus).
*Strong knowledge of transportation systems, routing, and shipment scheduling.
*Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
*Strong communication and coordination abilities across internal and external teams.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with ERP or TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
