The role
- Execute tenders, price indexations in the related purchase areas. Run market benchmarking to identify available suppliers and price.
- Optimize costs through the identification of alternative suppliers and negotiating on the terms and conditions.
- Prepare contracts and approve them according to the chart of authority, collect signatures.
- Create Ariba requests for supplier awarding (tenders, price modifications) and contract approval.
- Support group strategic procurement managers in executing strategic sourcing for the category. Participating in the related calls with group procurement managers.
- Assure compliance to the policies and guidelines.
- Consult requesting functions for basic procurement processes (incl. self-buy).
- Effectively execute and implement group sourcing results in the country through timely communication, contracting and administrative process set-up.
- Identify areas to improve collaboration with internal stakeholders (requesting functions), improve service level provided by Procurement team.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to deal as a SPOC for all requests and status sharing for other functions.
Expectations
- Knowledge in purchasing of logistic services (transportation, material handling).
- Knowledge of English language (ability to communicate verbally with English speaking Line Manager).
- Knowledge of basic formulas in Excel (to make evaluation tables).
- Skills of self-organization and tasks prioritization.
- Solid communication skills, running XF communication (projects status updates, alignment calls, etc.).
