We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Mechanical Engineer who will Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles. Confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information.
ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity.
* Implement PM schedule tasks and do the SAP Work Order process.
* Responsible for reporting breakdowns and Root cause analysis.
* Responsible for reducing breakdown times and increase lines SLE.
* Responsible for preparing overhauling spare parts, critical parts and stock monitoring.
* Implement water and energy saving projects.
* Responsible for implement Mechanical and HSE policies and programs.
* Achieve plant KPIs, especially Engineering ones.
* Deploy strategies in reliability that build maintenance and technician capabilities.
* Develop a team to handle day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
* Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues.
* Builds people capability through effective employee relations, training, and communication for front-line.
* Motivate team members to achieve plan goals.
* Administer policies and procedures.
* Regular and predictable attendance at the work site.
* Prioritize work requests.
* This role requires regular presence on the plant floor.
* This role will require off-shift and some weekend work.
ARE THESE YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS
* Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
* Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
* 3+ years of FMCG operations maintenance experience preferred; 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
* Mechanical experience maintaining equipment preferred Krones, Sidel lines.
* Installing and repairing all mechanical components (bearing, pneumatics, pumps, Etc…)
* Good Experience in maintaining Utilities Equipment (Chillers, and Air and Ammonia Compressors).
* TPM good knowledge.
* Working on shifts.
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
* Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
* Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making.
* Shown ability to excel in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others.
* Effective mentoring, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills.
· Knowledge of vibration analysis, thermography, or other condition monitoring techniques.
