Coca-Cola HBC is looking for a Merchandising Lead who will support the development and implementation of strategies for working with merchandising agencies within Coca-Cola HBC Egypt. This role will involve assisting in negotiations, representing the company's interests, and ensuring effective execution of merchandising plans in alignment with company guidelines and local regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain experience in merchandising management within a leading FMCG company.
ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Merchandising Strategy: Assist in the development and implementation of the strategy for engaging with merchandising agencies within Coca-Cola HBC Egypt.
- Assist in Negotiations: Participate in and support the negotiation process with merchandising agencies under the guidance of senior team members.
- Represent Coca-Cola HBC Egypt's interests in interactions with merchandising agencies.
- Support the analysis of the effectiveness of the merchandising system at CCH.
- Assist in monitoring the implementation of the Route To Market strategy for merchandising activities.
- Provide timely information regarding merchandising strategy implementation to relevant teams upon request.
- Support the preparation of regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly) analyses of merchandising effectiveness and contribute to regional performance reports.
- Assist in the processes of determining, negotiating, and signing agreements with merchandising agencies.
- Support the continuous monitoring and updating of the database of current merchandising agencies.
- Contribute to timely and accurate performance analysis and assist in identifying opportunities to achieve set goals.
- Support the monitoring of merchandising agency compliance with contract terms.
- Adhere to Company environmental protection requirements and relevant legislation.
- Assist in the review and signing of required documents based on reporting periods.
- Participate in financial projects to understand the calculation of merchandising model implementation in the country and regions.
- Contribute to business plan preparations, BPMS, quarterly reviews, and other relevant activities.
- Participate in joint projects with merchandising agencies.
- Cross-Functional Support
- Market Analysis Support to identify and learn about best practices in merchandising from the FMCG sector.
- Contribute to improvements in the quality of merchandising services.
ARE THESE YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in merchandising, sales, or a related area (internships and entry-level roles considered).
- Strong interest in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in1 Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability2 to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
- Understanding basic business principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and company values.
