Coca-Cola HBC is looking for a Material Planning Lead who will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient flow of raw and packaging materials in alignment with production schedules.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting uninterrupted production across all CCHBC plants.
In addition to core planning responsibilities, leading some improvement projects, and fostering alignment through clear communication of material planning processes.
ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Material Planning & Scheduling
- Translate the production plan into a detailed Material Requirements Plan (MRP) on a weekly basis.
- Develop and maintain monthly, weekly, and daily material delivery schedules to meet production needs.
- Monitor changes in the production plan and adjust material requirements accordingly to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
Inventory Management
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels to ensure continuous material availability, Track material receipts and prioritize deliveries based on production urgency.
- Monitor and manage stock levels both in absolute terms and in days of coverage, in line with safety stock policies.
Supplier, Procurement Coordination
- Generate and release purchase orders in line with the material delivery plan.
- Communicate forecasts and material needs directly with suppliers, Follow up on open purchase orders and monitor supplier delivery performance.
- Collaborate closely with the Procurement Team to ensure timely material availability and identify process improvements.
Cross Functional collaboration:
- Coordinate phase-in/phase-out plans with stakeholders in line with marketing strategies.
- Minimize leftover material and reduce write-off costs through proactive planning
- Maintain Raw Material data on SAP collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure data readiness prior to production launches.
Team & Project Support
-Act as a knowledge resource for colleagues with less experience, offering guidance and support.
-Lead medium – large scale projects that involve low risk and minimal resource requirements.
-Promote team alignment by clearly communicating material planning processes and sharing best practices.
ARE THESE YOUR SECERET INGRIDENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or commerce
- 4+ years of experience preferably as a materials planner or any relevant planning post.
- Strong communication skills & ability to work with cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated Analytical & Problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
