WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
In this operational role, you will take responsibility for ensuring material availability and act as the main interface between production and suppliers. Your main tasks will be:
- Secures on time material availability for production
- First point of contact for production regarding material shortages
- Determines the volume to be ordered and calls off material from existing fram contracts
- Manages order confirmations and kicks off escalation process upon need
- Communicates material changes with the suppliers
- Participates in project meetings and prepares regular project updates
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Bsc degree in the field of economics / industrial engineering or high school degree with several years of experience in Supply Chain
- Professional experience in operative purchasing or other fields of Supply Chain is an advantage
- Good MS Office knowledge required ( Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Ability to handle conflicts and to work under pressure
- Proactiveness, team player
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Very good communication skills both in English and Hungarian, German is an advantage
